General objective

The wider objective of the CLICHA project is to create qualified scientists who will contribute to the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture and will be readily absorbed by the labour market. These scientists could become the
transformation factor for the whole society towards a more sustainable way of farming, production, consuming and living.
 

Specific objectives

​

• Creation of a concrete educational material on Climate Change and its effects on agriculture and animal production, as well as the measures that could be adapted in local perspective;

• Modernisation of university courses, based on the said educational material through assessment of the existing educational programmes prior to developing the appropriate lectures;

• Adaptation of the courses to the specific conditions of the Southern side of the Mediterranean area in general and to those of Tunisia, specifically;

• Use of ICT technologies for the delivery of the courses by creating specific tools (presentations, videos, website, e-learning platform, social media);

• Strengthening of the internationalization of HEIs and of their capacity to network effectively in research, scientific and technological innovation;

• Enhancement of HEIs-enterprises cooperation.

 

Major outputs

• New updated material in the field of “Climate Change, crop and animal production” in two languages (French and English);

• Development of the relevant courses;

• Setting up of modern learning equipment (educational and mechanical equipment related to the delivery of the courses);

• Design of learning tools (e-learning platform, dynamic web site), that will all contribute to the achievement of the project‘s wider objective.
