HACKTEX project final meeting in Sweden
10/06/24
On 3 and 4 June, the Hacktex consortium met in Borås, Sweden for the sixth and final transnational meeting of the project.
The meeting, hosted by Borås University, started with the project coordinator, TUIASI, giving an extensive briefing and reminder of the remaining management tasks that need to be completed before the project can be finalised.
The partners then discussed about the quality and utilisation of the results during this last period of the project and beyond when the project is finished.
The next day, the partners focused on the almost completed Handbook of Good Practices that will help European academia and companies in teaching and training on smart textiles.
So far, the Hacktex project has developed a series of training courses and a virtual/in situ learning methodology to assist in its implementation, on smart textiles applied in the manufacturing sector, which are open and also replicable in other subjects by other universities, companies, and training centres.
Moreover, the Hacktex consortium did much more than develop a MOOC. It created a kind of family, it created special bonds between the partners, it helped them to get to know different realities, languages and cultures.
The Hacktex team, which also includes AEI Tèxtils, CIAPE, Cre.Thi.Dev., INTEXTER, TITERA and UNIWA, is pleased with the work carried out and hope you enjoy and benefit from the results produced.
